FAQ
Q: I’ve found a sample that I like in the store, but the tempo, length, or key is not quite right for my needs… Can I have this sample adjusted to fit my needs?
A: Yes, sample adjustments are available for an additional charge of 50% of the total sample cost. (For example: You need a sample that is in the key of A to be adjusted to Ab, and this sample costs $20. The total cost of the sample after adjustment will be $20 + $10 adjustment fee = $30.
Q: Can I request a sample that is not available on the website be made specially for my ensemble?
A: Small numbers of custom samples will be considered on a case-by-case basis during the months of November – May, so please feel free to reach out and inquire! During the marching season, however, (June – October) full show sound design clients take precedence and we are unable to fulfill small-batch custom sample orders.
Q: Do you require clients to use any specific equipment when hired to create a custom sound design package?
A: No, we organize samples based on your specific setup and do not require you to use any specific gear. However, we do recommend certain equipment be used for the smoothest possible performance experience. Please follow this link to view my equipment recommendation list, which is regularly updated as music technology advances.
Q: Will you travel to my school and set up our sound system?
A: Yes, we offer On-Site visits to set up your front ensemble amplification, implement sample playback, set up your mixer, and basically handle anything and everything needed to make your band sound great! Spots are limited and dates typically start to be scheduled over a year in advance, so if this interests you, please reach out and we can talk about some options!
